Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes complement component 1 Q subcomponent-binding protein, mitochondrial (gene c1qbp) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
C1QBP (also known as p32 or gC1qR) is a mainly mitochondrial protein originally identified by its binding to the globular heads of complement C1q. It supports mitochondrial protein synthesis and has been linked to ribosome biogenesis, apoptosis, splicing and inflammation, with a cell-surface pool also reported. Researchers study it in mitochondrial function, cancer metabolism and host–pathogen interactions.

|---|
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish C1QBP fragment (Asn215–Lys270), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places complement component 1 Q subcomponent-binding protein, mitochondrial in the cell membrane, cytoplasm and mitochondrion matrix. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
