Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes cadherin-17 (gene cdh17) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF.
Cadherin-17 (CDH17), also called liver-intestine cadherin (LI-cadherin), is a non-classical cadherin expressed mainly in intestinal epithelium. It mediates calcium-dependent cell adhesion and is widely used as an immunohistochemical marker of intestinal-type epithelium and gastrointestinal adenocarcinomas.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish kidney tissue, zebrafish colon tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): zebrafish embryo tissue.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish Cadherin-17/CDH17 fragment (Glu195–Leu868), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places cadherin-17 in the cell membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
