Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects polymerase I and transcript release factor (gene cavin1b) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
In zebrafish, cavin1b is a paralog of cavin-1, also known as polymerase I and transcript release factor (PTRF). Cavin-1 works with caveolins to form caveolae at the plasma membrane, and in zebrafish cavin1b has been studied in caveola formation in the notochord and muscle.

Validated Applications
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL |
|---|
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish liver tissue, zebrafish colon tissue, zebrafish intestine tissue, zebrafish pancrease tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places polymerase I and transcript release factor in the cytoplasm and membrane.
