Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes caveolae-associated protein 4a (gene cavin4a) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
In zebrafish, cavin4a is a paralog of cavin-4 (also called MURC), a muscle-enriched member of the cavin family of caveolae-associated proteins. It has been reported to activate RhoA/ROCK signaling, supporting nppa expression and myofibril organization in the heart, and it is studied in zebrafish cardiac and muscle development.

Validated Applications
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL |
|---|
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish colon tissue, zebrafish kidney tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places caveolae-associated protein 4a in the cytoplasm and membrane.
