Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets muscle-related coiled-coil protein (gene cavin4b) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
In zebrafish, cavin4b is a paralog of cavin-4, the muscle-restricted coiled-coil protein (MURC) of the cavin family that associates with caveolae in skeletal and cardiac muscle. The specific function of cavin4b in zebrafish has not been fully characterized.

Validated Applications
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL |
|---|
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish skeletal muscle tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places muscle-related coiled-coil protein in the cytoplasm and membrane.
