Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets T-complex protein 1 subunit epsilon (gene cct5) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
CCT5 is the epsilon subunit of the chaperonin TRiC (also called CCT), which folds actin, tubulin and numerous other cytosolic proteins in an ATP-dependent cycle. It is studied in protein quality control and cytoskeleton assembly, and CCT5 variants have been linked to a hereditary sensory neuropathy.

| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish CCT5 fragment (Ser442–Asp541), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places T-complex protein 1 subunit epsilon in the cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
