Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets epithelial cell adhesion molecule precursor (gene epcam) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
EpCAM (CD326) is a transmembrane glycoprotein on most epithelial cells that mediates homophilic cell-cell adhesion. It also influences proliferation and stem cell maintenance, and it is highly expressed in many carcinomas. EpCAM is widely used to identify and isolate epithelial and circulating tumor cells, and EPCAM mutations cause congenital tufting enteropathy.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish kidney tissue, zebrafish esophagus tissue, zebrafish liver tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.

Recombinant zebrafish CD326/EPCAM fragment (Ser43–Ser303), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
