Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects coatomer subunit epsilon (gene cope) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
COPE is the ε subunit of coatomer, the cytosolic complex that assembles COPI coats on Golgi membranes. COPI vesicles return proteins bearing dilysine motifs from the Golgi to the endoplasmic reticulum and move cargo between Golgi cisternae, so COPE is studied in secretory pathway and membrane trafficking research.
| Target | Coatomer subunit epsilon (gene cope; UniProt Q5U3E8, zebrafish) |
|---|---|
| Host / Clonality / Isotype | Rabbit / Polyclonal / Rabbit IgG |
| Reactivity | Zebrafish |
| Form | Lyophilized |
| Formulation | Per vial: 4 mg trehalose; 0.9 mg NaCl; 0.2 mg Na2HPO4 |
| Storage | As supplied: −20 °C for up to 12 months from receipt. After reconstitution: 4 °C for up to 1 month, or aliquot and keep at −20 °C for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. |
Validated Applications
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish kidney tissue, zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish colon tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish COPE fragment (Glu72–Ala300), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places coatomer subunit epsilon in the Golgi apparatus membrane.
