Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes casein kinase II subunit beta (gene csnk2b) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
CK2 beta (CSNK2B) is the regulatory subunit of casein kinase 2. Two beta subunits form the core of the tetrameric enzyme, holding the catalytic alpha subunits and shaping their stability and substrate choice. It participates in Wnt signaling, and during Epstein-Barr virus infection it links CK2 to PML degradation, so it is studied in signaling and virology.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 12% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish kidney tissue, zebrafish brain tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).

Recombinant zebrafish CSNK2B fragment (Met1–Arg215), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places casein kinase II subunit beta in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
