Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets growth-regulated alpha protein isoform X1 (gene cxcl8a) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
In zebrafish, cxcl8a encodes a CXC chemokine related to mammalian interleukin-8. It has been described as a ligand for the receptor Cxcr3.2 with chemotactic activity toward macrophages, and zebrafish CXCL8 chemokines are studied in models of inflammation and leukocyte recruitment.

Validated Applications
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish spinal cord tissue, zebrafish kidney tissue, zebrafish liver tissue, zebrafish eye tissue, zebrafish muscle tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish CXCL8A fragment (Met23–Pro98), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt describes growth-regulated alpha protein isoform X1 as a secreted protein.
