Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes unspecific monooxygenase (gene cyp3a65) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
In zebrafish, cyp3a65 encodes a cytochrome P450 of the CYP3A subfamily, expressed mainly in the intestine and liver. Like mammalian CYP3A enzymes, it is thought to take part in the metabolism of drugs and other foreign compounds, and it is used as an induction marker in zebrafish toxicology studies.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish ovary tissue, zebrafish eye tissue, zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish liver tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.

Recombinant zebrafish CYP3A65 fragment (Arg48–Ser517), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places unspecific monooxygenase in the endoplasmic reticulum membrane and microsome membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
