Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets microprocessor complex subunit DGCR8 in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC and ICC/IF.
DGCR8 is the RNA-binding partner of the RNase III enzyme Drosha in the Microprocessor complex. It recognizes primary microRNA transcripts in the nucleus and positions Drosha to cut out precursor microRNAs, the first step of canonical microRNA biogenesis. DGCR8 lies in the 22q11.2 deletion region and is studied in microRNA biology and neurodevelopment.

| Storage | As supplied: −20 °C for up to 12 months from receipt. After reconstitution: 4 °C for up to 1 month, or aliquot and keep at −20 °C for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. |
Validated Applications
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|---|
| Immunocytochemistry / Immunofluorescence | 5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish brain tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): zebrafish embryo tissue.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish DGCR8 fragment (Lys570–Gln771), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places microprocessor complex subunit DGCR8 in the nucleus.
