Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes dihydrolipoyllysine-residue succinyltransferase component of 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase complex, mitochondrial (gene dlst) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
DLST is the E2 (dihydrolipoamide succinyltransferase) subunit of the 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase complex. This mitochondrial complex converts 2-oxoglutarate to succinyl-CoA, a rate-controlling step of the TCA cycle. DLST is studied in mitochondrial metabolism and cancer metabolism.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|---|
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish kidney tissue, zebrafish liver tissue, zebrafish colon tissue, zebrafish testis tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish DLST fragment (Asp86–Met458), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places dihydrolipoyllysine-residue succinyltransferase component of 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase complex, mitochondrial in the mitochondrion matrix and nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
