Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets homeobox protein Dlx2a in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
In zebrafish, Dlx2a is a Distal-less family homeodomain transcription factor. It is expressed in the developing forebrain and pharyngeal arches and has been implicated in development of the inner ear. Dlx2a is studied as a developmental regulator in zebrafish neural and craniofacial research.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 12% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant zebrafish DLX2A fragment (Asp11–Asn261), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places homeobox protein Dlx2a in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (zebrafish): Expressed in the developing forebrain and fins. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
