Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes zinc finger protein draculin (gene drl) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
In zebrafish, draculin (drl) is a zinc finger protein whose gene is expressed early in the lateral mesoderm that gives rise to blood and vascular cells. It is widely used as a marker of early hematopoietic and endothelial progenitors, although its molecular function has not been fully characterized.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish DRL fragment (Met1–Glu411), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (zebrafish): Specifically expressed in the hematopoietic lineage during embryogenesis. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
