Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects fatty acid binding protein 11a (gene fabp4a) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
In zebrafish, fabp4a (also listed as fabp11a) encodes a member of the intracellular lipid-binding protein family. Fatty acid-binding proteins carry long-chain fatty acids and related lipids within cells.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 12% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant zebrafish FABP4A fragment (Arg31–Ala134), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
