Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes forkhead box protein J1-A (gene foxj1a) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
In zebrafish, foxj1a is a key transcription factor for motile ciliogenesis. It activates genes needed to form and move motile cilia, for example in Kupffer′s vesicle and the pronephros, and it is studied in zebrafish models of left–right patterning and ciliopathies.

Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish spinal cord tissue, zebrafish kidney tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places forkhead box protein J1-A in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (zebrafish): Expressed in floor plate, dorsal forerunner cells, Kupffers vesicle, the floor plate, pronephric ducts and kidney.
