Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets growth arrest and DNA damage-inducible protein GADD45 alpha (gene gadd45aa) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
In zebrafish, gadd45aa is one of the fish orthologs of mammalian GADD45A, a stress-induced protein that helps coordinate cell cycle arrest, DNA repair and stress kinase signaling. The zebrafish protein is used in studies of development and stress responses but has not been characterized in detail.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 12% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant zebrafish GADD45AA fragment (Met1–Arg157), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places growth arrest and DNA damage-inducible protein GADD45 alpha in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
