Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects glutamate receptor (gene grin1a) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
In zebrafish, grin1a encodes one of two GluN1 subunits of NMDA-type glutamate receptors. These ligand-gated channels carry excitatory synaptic currents in the central nervous system, and zebrafish is used to study their roles in neural development and behavior.
| Target | Glutamate receptor (gene grin1a; UniProt F1R366, zebrafish) |

| Host / Clonality / Isotype | Rabbit / Polyclonal / Rabbit IgG |
| Reactivity | Zebrafish |
| Form | Lyophilized |
| Formulation | Per vial: 4 mg trehalose; 0.9 mg NaCl; 0.2 mg Na2HPO4 |
| Storage | As supplied: −20 °C for up to 12 months from receipt. After reconstitution: 4 °C for up to 1 month, or aliquot and keep at −20 °C for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. |
Validated Applications
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish brain tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide from the C-terminal region of zebrafish GRIN1a/b.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places glutamate receptor in the cell membrane, postsynaptic cell membrane and postsynaptic density membrane.
