Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes heart- and neural crest derivatives-expressed protein 2 (gene hand2) in zebrafish samples.
In zebrafish, hand2 is a basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor needed for forming the myocardium and for patterning and outgrowth of the pectoral fins. It acts in lateral plate mesoderm and neural crest derivatives, and zebrafish hand2 mutants show severe heart and fin defects. It is widely studied in cardiac and limb/fin development.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places heart- and neural crest derivatives-expressed protein 2 in the nucleus.
