Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects transcription factor HES-5 (gene her4.4) in zebrafish samples.
In zebrafish, her4.4 is one of several tandem her4 genes encoding Hairy/Enhancer of split-related bHLH-Orange repressors, related to mammalian HES5. These Notch-responsive factors inhibit neuronal differentiation by repressing proneural gene expression. her4 genes are studied in zebrafish neurogenesis and Notch signaling.
