Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets histone H3.3 (gene h3f3a) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF.
In zebrafish, histone H3.3 (h3f3a) is a replacement H3 variant that is deposited into chromatin independently of DNA replication, mainly at actively transcribed regions. It helps mark active chromatin and is the dominant H3 form in non-dividing cells. Zebrafish H3.3 is studied in chromatin dynamics, development and neural crest biology.

| Immunocytochemistry / Immunofluorescence | 5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): zebrafish embryo tissue.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish liver tissue, zebrafish colon tissue, zebrafish muscle tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
E. coli-derived zebrafish.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places histone H3.3 in the nucleus and chromosome. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
