Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein D0 isoform X2 (gene hnrnpd) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF.
hnRNP D (HNRNPD, also called AUF1) binds AU-rich elements in the 3′ untranslated regions of many short-lived mRNAs, such as those of cytokines and proto-oncogenes, and usually promotes their decay. It also binds telomeric single-stranded DNA and regulates translation of some clock gene mRNAs, and it is studied in mRNA turnover and inflammation.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.

Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.

Recombinant zebrafish HNRNPD fragment (Lys43–Asn203), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein D0 isoform X2 in the cytoplasm and nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
