Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects small monomeric GTPase (gene hrasa) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
In zebrafish, hrasa encodes a small monomeric GTPase related to mammalian HRAS, a Ras protein that switches between GTP- and GDP-bound states to relay growth signals. Zebrafish Ras genes are used in developmental studies and tumor models, but the specific roles of hrasa have not been fully characterized.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|---|
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish cerebellum tissue, zebrafish spinal cord tissue, zebrafish eye tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish HRASa/b fragment (Lys101–Ser177), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places small monomeric GTPase in the cell membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
