Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes 60 kDa heat shock protein, mitochondrial (gene hspd1) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF.
HSP60 (HSPD1) is the mitochondrial chaperonin. It forms barrel-shaped complexes that, together with the lid-like co-chaperonin HSP10, enclose imported proteins and help them fold in the mitochondrial matrix. HSP60 is studied in mitochondrial protein quality control, and it is also known as an immune target in inflammation research.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): zebrafish embryo tissue.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish heart tissue, zebrafish liver tissue, zebrafish spinal cord tissue, zebrafish kidney tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places 60 kDa heat shock protein, mitochondrial in the mitochondrion matrix. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
