Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets interferon phi 3 precursor (gene ifnphi3) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
In zebrafish, interferon phi 3 (ifnphi3) is one of several fish type I interferons that are induced during viral infection. Its individual functions compared with the other zebrafish interferon phi genes have not been fully characterized.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish kidney tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt describes interferon phi 3 precursor as a secreted protein. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
