Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes intraflagellar transport protein 172 homolog (gene ift172) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
IFT172 is a large component of intraflagellar transport complex B, the machinery that carries cargo along cilia. It is needed to build and maintain cilia and is involved in the turnaround of IFT trains at the ciliary tip, and because Hedgehog signaling depends on primary cilia, it is also studied in ciliopathies and developmental signaling.

Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
