Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects interferon regulatory factor 7 isoform 1 (gene irf7) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
Interferon regulatory factor 7 (IRF7) is the master transcription factor for type I interferon responses, especially the strong IFN-α production by plasmacytoid dendritic cells. Activated by TBK1/IKKε or through TLR7/9–MyD88 signaling, it induces interferon and interferon-stimulated genes, and it is also studied in zebrafish antiviral immunity.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant zebrafish IRF7 fragment (Met1–Ser394), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
