Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects protein jagged-1b (gene jag1b) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF.
In zebrafish, Jagged-1b (jag1b) is one of two orthologs of mammalian JAG1 and acts as a ligand for Notch receptors. It takes part in Notch-dependent cell fate decisions during development, and zebrafish studies link it to craniofacial and liver development.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish pancreas tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): zebrafish embryo tissue.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places protein jagged-1b in the membrane and cell membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
