Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets kinesin-like protein kif7 in zebrafish samples.
KIF7 is a kinesin-4 family protein that concentrates at the tip of the primary cilium and acts as both a positive and negative regulator of Hedgehog signaling. It organizes the ciliary tip and controls the localization of SUFU–GLI complexes, thereby shaping GLI-dependent gene activity. KIF7 mutations cause ciliopathies such as Joubert and acrocallosal syndromes.
