Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes kelch-like protein 12 (gene klhl12) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
KLHL12 is a Kelch-like BTB protein that serves as a substrate adapter for a CUL3-based E3 ubiquitin ligase. By monoubiquitinating the COPII coat protein SEC31, it helps form enlarged COPII carriers that export bulky cargo such as procollagen from the endoplasmic reticulum, and it has also been described as a negative regulator of Wnt signaling through Dishevelled degradation. It is studied in collagen secretion and development.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant zebrafish KLHL12 fragment (Arg23–Val327), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
