Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets laminin subunit beta-1 (gene lamb1a) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
In zebrafish, lamb1a encodes a laminin beta-1 chain, a structural component of basement membranes. Laminins bind cell surface receptors and other matrix molecules to support cell adhesion, migration and tissue organization, and zebrafish laminin mutants are used to study their roles in embryonic development of tissues such as the notochord, eye and muscle.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 8% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant zebrafish LAMB1A fragment (Gln1193–Glu1772), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
