Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets RNA polymerase-associated protein LEO1 in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF.
LEO1 is a subunit of the PAF1 complex (PAF1C), which binds RNA polymerase II and supports transcription elongation and associated histone modifications. PAF1C helps express developmental genes such as Hox and Wnt targets and helps maintain embryonic stem cell pluripotency. LEO1 is studied in transcription regulation, and zebrafish leo1 is used to study its role in development, including heart and neural crest.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish heart tissue, zebrafish eye tissue, zebrafish brain tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): zebrafish embryo tissue, zebrafish embryos tissue.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish LEO1 fragment (Glu333–Lys571), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places RNA polymerase-associated protein LEO1 in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
