Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects LIMS1 in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
PINCH-1 (LIMS1) is an adaptor protein made of LIM domains that forms the IPP complex with integrin-linked kinase and parvin at focal adhesions. This complex connects integrins to the actin cytoskeleton and supports cell spreading, migration and survival. LIMS1 is studied in cell adhesion signaling, and zebrafish lims1 is used to study its role in heart and muscle development.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|---|
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish heart tissue, zebrafish muscle tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish LIMS1 fragment (Glu22–Ala183), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
