Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes protein lin-7 homolog (gene lin7c) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
LIN7C (MALS-3, VELI-3) is a small PDZ-domain scaffold protein that forms complexes with CASK and other membrane-associated proteins. These complexes help target and retain channels, receptors and adhesion proteins at the correct domains of polarized cells, including epithelia and neurons. LIN7C is studied in epithelial polarity and synapse organization, and zebrafish lin7c is used in developmental studies.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 12% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant zebrafish LIN7C fragment (Met1–Ala73), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places protein lin-7 homolog in the cell junction and cell membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
