Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets large subunit GTPase 1 homolog (gene lsg1) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
LSG1 is a cytoplasmic GTPase that acts late in maturation of the 60S ribosomal subunit. After the subunit is exported from the nucleus, LSG1 is thought to help release the export adaptor NMD3, a step needed before the subunit can join translation; related proteins are studied in yeast and zebrafish as models of ribosome assembly.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|---|
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish eye tissue, zebrafish brain tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish LSG1 fragment (Arg21–Gly467), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places large subunit GTPase 1 homolog in the cytoplasm, endoplasmic reticulum and nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
