Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes macrophage-expressed gene 1 protein (gene mpeg1.1) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
In zebrafish, mpeg1.1 encodes a perforin-2-like pore-forming protein expressed in macrophages and involved in antibacterial defense. Its promoter is widely used to label macrophages in transgenic zebrafish lines for studies of innate immunity and inflammation.
| Target | Macrophage-expressed gene 1 protein (gene mpeg1.1; UniProt Q7SXE0, zebrafish) |

|---|
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish MPEG1 fragment (Gln68–Ser718), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places macrophage-expressed gene 1 protein in the cytoplasmic vesicle.
