Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes msxb protein (gene msx1b) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
In zebrafish, msx1b (msxb) encodes a muscle segment homeobox transcription factor. Zebrafish msx genes are expressed in developing fins and other embryonic tissues, and msxb is commonly studied as a marker of the blastema during fin regeneration.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish MSX1B fragment (Met1–His125), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places msxb protein in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
