Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets myeloid differentiation primary response protein MyD88 in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
MyD88 is the adaptor that links Toll-like receptors and IL-1 family receptors to downstream kinases in innate immunity. Through IRAK1, IRAK2 and TRAF6 it drives NF-κB activation and the release of inflammatory cytokines, so it is a common readout in studies of infection, sterile inflammation and TLR-targeted drugs.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish liver tissue, zebrafish colon tissue, zebrafish thymus tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.

Recombinant zebrafish MYD88 fragment (Met1–Lys266), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places myeloid differentiation primary response protein MyD88 in the cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
