Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets myosin-10 isoform X1 (gene myh10) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
Non-muscle myosin IIB (MYH10) is the heavy chain of a conventional myosin II motor that forms bipolar filaments to drive actomyosin contraction in non-muscle cells. It contributes to cytokinesis, cell shape, cell spreading and migration, and is particularly important in heart and brain development. It has also been reported as an entry receptor for herpes simplex virus 1.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 8% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant zebrafish MYH10 fragment (Met4–Lys37), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
