Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects myosin light chain 2 Mlc2a (gene myl7) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
In zebrafish, myl7 (also called cmlc2) encodes a cardiac myosin regulatory light chain expressed in cardiomyocytes from early heart development onward. Its promoter is widely used to drive transgenes in zebrafish heart studies, and the protein serves as a cardiomyocyte marker.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish heart tissue, zebrafish muscle tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.

Recombinant zebrafish MYL7 fragment (Met1–Ser172), expressed in E. coli.
