Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects protein myomaker (gene mymk) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
In zebrafish, myomaker (mymk) is a multi-pass membrane protein of fusing myoblasts that is essential for their fusion into multinucleated muscle fibers. It drives the early lipid-mixing (hemifusion) step and works together with myomixer, and zebrafish is a key model for studying it during muscle development.

Validated Applications
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL |
|---|
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish skeletal muscle tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places protein myomaker in the cell membrane.
