Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets cyclops (gene ndr2) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
In zebrafish, Nodal-related 2 (ndr2, also called cyclops) is a Nodal family member of the TGF-β superfamily. It is needed for mesoderm and endoderm formation and for proper development of ventral midline structures, including separation of the eye field, and its mutants are a classic model of Nodal signaling.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish NDR2 fragment (Lys23–Arg370), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt describes cyclops as a secreted protein. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
