Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes NF-kappa-B inhibitor alpha (gene nfkbiaa) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
In zebrafish, nfkbiaa is one of the IκBα orthologs, which keep NF-κB dimers inactive in the cytoplasm. Signal-induced phosphorylation and degradation of IκBα releases NF-κB, and zebrafish is increasingly used to study NF-κB-dependent inflammation in vivo.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish kidney tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places NF-kappa-B inhibitor alpha in the cytoplasm and nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
