Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets floating head (gene noto) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
In zebrafish, floating head (flh, noto) is a homeobox transcription factor expressed in the dorsal organizer and notochord precursors. It is required for notochord formation, and mutants lack a notochord, so it is a classic gene for studying axial mesoderm development.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 12% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish NOTO fragment (Met1–Asp241), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places floating head in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
