Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects RNA-binding protein Nova-2 isoform X1 (gene nova2) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
NOVA2 is a neuronal KH-domain RNA-binding protein closely related to NOVA1. It binds YCAY motifs in pre-mRNA to enhance or repress exon inclusion, regulating alternative splicing of many neuronal and vascular transcripts. It is studied in brain development, axon guidance and splicing networks.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish heart tissue, zebrafish eye tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish NOVA2 fragment (Met25–Gln229), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places RNA-binding protein Nova-2 isoform X1 in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
