Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets neuronal PAS domain-containing protein 4-like (gene npas4l) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
In zebrafish, npas4l (the gene mutated in cloche) is a bHLH-PAS transcription factor expressed in early endothelial and blood precursors. It acts at the top of the endothelial and hematopoietic program by switching on early regulators such as etv2 and tal1, and cloche mutants lack most blood vessels and blood cells.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant zebrafish NPAS4L fragment (Gln94–Ile647), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places neuronal PAS domain-containing protein 4-like in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (zebrafish): Specifically expressed in endothelial and hematopoietic precursor cells. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
