Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes aminopeptidase (gene npepps) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
Puromycin-sensitive aminopeptidase (NPEPPS) is a cytosolic zinc metalloprotease that removes N-terminal amino acids from a broad range of peptides. It helps trim antigenic peptide precursors for MHC class I presentation, may regulate neuropeptide activity and can digest polyglutamine peptides. It is studied in protein turnover, antigen processing and neurodegeneration.

| Host / Clonality / Isotype | Rabbit / Polyclonal / Rabbit IgG |
| Reactivity | Zebrafish |
| Form | Lyophilized |
| Formulation | Per vial: 4 mg trehalose; 0.9 mg NaCl; 0.2 mg Na2HPO4 |
| Storage | As supplied: −20 °C for up to 12 months from receipt. After reconstitution: 4 °C for up to 1 month, or aliquot and keep at −20 °C for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. |
Validated Applications
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish muscle tissue, zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish eye tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish NPEPPS fragment (Arg487–Ala851), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places aminopeptidase in the cytoplasm and nucleus.
