Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets nuclear protein localization protein 4 homolog (gene nploc4) in zebrafish samples and is validated for IHC.
NPLOC4 (also called NPL4) partners with UFD1 to form a cofactor of the ATPase VCP/p97. The VCP–UFD1–NPL4 complex binds ubiquitinated proteins and extracts them from membranes or complexes for proteasomal degradation, including in ER-associated degradation. It is also involved in spindle disassembly after mitosis and is studied in protein quality control.

Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
