Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes dynamin-like GTPase OPA1, mitochondrial in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
OPA1 is a dynamin-related GTPase of the inner mitochondrial membrane that drives inner membrane fusion and shapes cristae. Membrane-anchored long forms are cleaved by OMA1 and YME1L into short soluble forms, and the balance between them controls fusion. OPA1 mutations cause dominant optic atrophy, and it is studied in mitochondrial dynamics.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): whole female zebrafish tissue, whole male zebrafish tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish eye tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.

Recombinant zebrafish OPA1 fragment (Asp302–Gln568), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
